Business leaders and a Lake advocacy group are coming together to talk shop about protecting Lake George water quality, which is tied to a $2 billion regional tourism economy.
They’re meeting in a new group called the Council of Business Advisors, organized by the nonprofit organization, The FUND for Lake George.
There are nine inaugural council members representing different kinds of businesses, from the automobile industry to hotels and economic development groups, and The FUND’s Executive Director Eric Siy said they will help advise on his organization’s protection initiatives moving forward. The FUND already has a Council of Science Advisors, which this new group will complement.
