Ike first came to Lake George as a child when his family stayed at Canoe Island Lodge for a few weeks each summer. Ike moved permanently to Bolton Landing in the early 1980s. He is a principal of Waverly Management, a Philadelphia-based developer of commercial real estate and multi-family housing. Ike owned and operated the Lake George Kayak Company from 1997 to 2017. He was the developer, partner of the Sagamore Hotel from 1983 to 2008, and developer, owner, operator of Champlain Spinners Hydro, a power company, from 1990 to 2005.
In addition to supporting numerous environmental and cultural activities in the Lake George and broader Adirondack region, he contributes his time and experience as a board member with the Lake George Land Conservancy and Hudson Headwater Health Network. Ike serves on The FUND’s Finance Committee.
Ike is a graduate of Boston University School of Management. In addition to his business and non-profit activities, Ike enjoys canoeing, kayaking, skiing and other recreational activities throughout the Lake George and Adirondack region.
